With a heavy heart, I pray to Almighty Allah to comfort the families and loved ones of the victims of the recent attacks in Woro and Kuku communities of Kaiama. No words can fully heal such pain, but our shared humanity demands sincere sympathy, not political drama or empty rhetoric.
Beyond the general condolences and public statements, the truth must be spoken plainly. These attacks are not acts of mystery. They are the work of local collaborators—evil perpetrators who live among us, eat with us, and yet feed on innocent blood—working with hardened criminals within and beyond our state and national borders. Until this reality is confronted, peace will remain fragile.
Security challenges cannot be handled with soft words alone. There must be a stronger response—firm action, physical engagement where necessary, and effective intelligence gathering. These criminals deliberately target soft communities, strike, disappear, and resurface elsewhere. This has been their pattern: attack quietly, spread fear loudly, and weaken public confidence. Our people must remain alert, united, and resilient in the face of this calculated terror.
Government at all levels must also rise to its sworn duty. The protection of lives and property is not optional—it is the primary responsibility of government. Councillors, chairmen, legislators, governors, and national representatives up to the President must act decisively and act better. The blood of innocent citizens cries out for justice—not only in Kaiama or Kwara State, but across Nigeria where kidnapping and senseless killings have become too frequent.
May Almighty Allah expose and disgrace all evil perpetrators, both within and outside our communities. May He restore peace, safety, and tranquillity to Kwara State and our nation at large, and may the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace.
