Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme has stated that the Delta Government was committed to the provision of durable infrastructures and human capital development for all Deltans through the “more agenda ” of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration.
He stated this at the weekend while fielding questions from members of the Delta State community in Atlanta who hosted him in the city.
The organisers say the event is a demonstration that the Nigerian Diaspora does not shy away from engaging with visiting elected Nigerian leaders where they make themselves available.
During the engaging meet, Onyeme regaled the house with the current impressive construction of roads and bridges and efforts to bring electricity to Ndokwa nation.
Members of the community commended the deputy governor for his humility and transparent exchange of ideas.

Sir Onyeme was presented with a token gift by Chief Paul Okoku, a member of the Nigerian National Soccer team, the Super Eagles 1984 African Cup of Nations Silver winning squad.
Other members of the community present were Professor Juliet Elu of Morehouse College, Atlanta; Chief Collins Odinjor, and his wife Alero; Mr. Raymond Ekurhare, Chief Emeka Chimekwene, Mr Frederick Ogodo and his wife Henrietta; Attorney Ani and his wife Christabel; Mr. Valentine Egbune, Ms. Ndidi Ogwu, Dr. Gerald Dariah ( MD ) and Mr. Ejiro Ineneji.
The Deputy Governor was accompanied by his wife Ezinne Catherine Onyeme and Children in a small reception hosted in his honor by Mr. Kingsley Dike and his wife Tilda.
