Moonshot creates an important platform for the conversations and partnerships that will shape the future of Africa’s innovation ecosystem, and we’re proud to support a community of founders, investors and builders who are creating solutions with both local relevance and global ambition.”
Speaking on Moonshot 2026, Tomiwa Aladekomo, CEO of Big Cabal Media, said: “The corner has been turned. African tech has proven it can survive funding corrections, geopolitical shifts and market recalibrations. The question now is whether we build with the courage to own more of the value we create, not just adapt to a world that keeps changing around us. Moonshot 2026 is where we ask the ecosystem to be brave again, to back bold bets, design from first principles, and build things that can compete globally and last.”
Across nine content tracks, including Emerging Tech, Future of Commerce, Big Tech & Enterprise, Government & Policy, FUEL: The Investor Conference, Creative Economy, Clean Tech & Climate, Startup Festival and Entering Tech, Moonshot 2026 will explore the ideas behind this year’s manifesto aimed at building ambitious companies and investing in sustainable growth, to advancing Africa-first innovation across AI, climate, infrastructure and commerce. The programme will examine what it takes for founders, investors and policymakers to make bold decisions, build enduring institutions and position African technology as a driver of global innovation.
This year’s programme will convene founders, investors, policymakers, operators and creatives to deliberate on the ideas, partnerships and decisions that will shape Africa’s next chapter – owning critical infrastructure and building Africa-first technologies and creating companies designed for long-term impact.
Since its inaugural edition in 2023, Moonshot by TechCabal has grown into one of Africa’s leading convenings for the technology ecosystem, bringing together more than 7,500 founders, investors, policymakers, operators and creatives from over 20 countries.
