A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Joju Fadairo has denied a report that he said no ‘foreigner’ or stranger would be allowed to become Governor or hold sensitive political positions in Ogun state.
Fadairo was reacting to what he described as false statement released on social media by team of Ladi Adebutu, a governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who recently paid him a visit at his residence in Abeokuta.
The Asiwaju of Ifoland and Fiwagboye of Egbaland, frowned at what he described as dirty politics, which he said was exhibited by followers of Adebutu who conjured up fake statement and credited such to him.
The APC leader declared that he could not descend so low at his age and exposure, to utter such statement and called on Adebutu to call his team and supporters to order
He said, “People can say anything. I never said such. I have received series of telephone calls. Any reasonable person will not think like that. It is not true, it’s a lie, tissues of lies. How on earth at my level would I say that. I won’t allow anybody to soil my reputation. I am a decent person. The word stranger never came from my mouth’, he said.
