The Muslim Community of Oyo State has applauded the recent Cabinet reshuffle effected on Monday, 5th January by the state governor, Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde.
In the new Cabinet, we have Prof Musibau Babatunde, until then, the Hon. Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, now elevated to the position of Secretary to the State Government.
Professor Musibau Babatunde, is a seasoned expert in Energy Economics; International Economics and Macro-Economics.
“A complete gentleman, Prof. Babatunde proved his mettle as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning,” a statement of support by the Muslim Community of Oyo State said.
The statement was signed by Alhaji Ishaq Kunle Sanni, Chairman and Alhaji Murisiku Abidemi Siyanbade, Secretary-General.
“His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, being a very observant leader must have seen all the qualities embedded in Prof. Musibau Babatunde, which eventually culminated in his advancement to the enviable position of Secretary to Oyo State Government: A round peg in a round hole.
“While we appreciate His Excellency, The Governor for this appointment, we felicitate our brother, Prof. Musibau Adetunji and wish him tremendous success in this new endeavour. More Grace, in shaa Llaah.”
