Nigerians should celebrate the essence of Christmas by living a life that reflects Christ’s virtues of love, peace, kindness and compassion.
This admonition was contained in a Christmas message issued today by Archbishop Olúṣesí Ọbátẹ́yẹ, the International Coordinator of PLDILEIC and
President of the PLD Institute.
The message reads in full:
Dear leaders of all categories and statuses. Friends and partners. The reason for today’s celebration is Jesus Christ, the embodiment of love, peace, kindness and compassion.
Let us emulate Him in all that we do in our private and public life to ensure peace, happiness and progress in our homes and Nigeria as a country.
I want to advise that we exercise patience with the strata of governments in our country, do away with ungodly politics and ungodly criticism of the policies of government and governance direction.
Nigeria certainly shall be great and all Nigerians will be proud of her greatness.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all Nigerians, Africans, and rest of the world.
