Muhammed Babangida, son of former Nigerian military leader Ibrahim Babangida, has turned down his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Chairman of the Bank of Agriculture.
The rejection was contained in a letter date July 21 sent to President Bola Tinubu by Babangida and leaked to the media.
“This decision was not made lightly. It stems from a convergence of personal and professional considerations which, at this time, would not allow me to serve with the level of focus and commitment the position rightly deserves,” he wrote.
