The ECOWAS Needs Assessment Team, in continuation of its broad consultations with critical stakeholders, met with officials of the Gambian Bar Association and the Ministry of Justice in Banjul on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th April 2025 respectively.
The General Secretary of the Gambian Bar Association (GBA), Mr Abdoulie Fatly and the immediate President of the GBA, Mr Salieu Taal were on hand to receive the team at the GBA office.
At the Justice Ministry, the team was received by the Solicitor General and Legal Secretary, Mr Hussein Thomas and other staff members.
The INEC Chairman also led the Nigerian delegation on a courtesy visit to the Nigerian High Commission in the Gambia on Wednesday 16th April, 2025.
He was received by the Charge d’Affaires, Mr. Muhammad Marinasura Usman, alongside other staff members of the High Commission.
