Adegbayo, development expert congratulates Lawal Yandaki on Katsina LG poll victory

A seasoned local government administrator and development consultant, Engr. Kayode Adegbayo, has praised the peaceful and orderly conduct of the local government election in Katsina State over the weekend.
In a statement at the weekend, Adegbayo, who is also the Special Assistant to the ALGON National President on Programmes, congratulated Alhaji Bello Lawal Yandaki on his landslide victory to emerge Chairman of Kaita Local Government Area of the state in the elections.
He showered praises on the Katsina State Independent Electoral Commission (KASIEC) for conducting a free and fair election, and expressed gratitude to stakeholders and voters for their support and cooperation during the exercise.
Adegbayo noted that Katsina state is blessed with a rich history of being a pace setter in political development, and that the successful conduct of the election is a testament to Governor Radda’s excellent leadership quality. He also commended the efforts of law enforcement agencies and observer groups in ensuring a peaceful and orderly election process.
“This victory is a significant milestone for ALGON, with hopes that Governor Radda’s grasp of democratic principles will inspire the ALGON National President to bring innovation and improvement to local governance”, Adegbayo said as he reiterated the administration’s commitment to meeting the high expectations of rural communities, following the Supreme Court’s ruling on financial autonomy for local governmen
