Edo State Governor has sworn in six Commissioners into the state executive council.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, the officials are to resume with immediate effect.
The statement reads:
It is hereby announced for the information of the General Public that the Govenor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo has sworn in six (6) Commissioners into the State Executive Council.
The newly sworn in Commissioners and their portfolios are:
1. Paul Nosayaba Ohonbamu- Ministry of Information and Communications
2. Dr. Washington Osa Osifo- Ministry of Water Resources and Energy
3. Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu- Ministry of Education
4. Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe- Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
5. Mr. Andrew Ijegbai- Ministry of Mining
6. Barr. Marie Olabisi Idaomi- Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
All Commissioners are expected to resume at their various Ministries with immediate effect.
