Music superstar Tiwa Savage has got her fans thinking over a thought-provoking remark about the Nigerian music industry on her Instastory. The singer shared a video of herself swimming with sharks, assuring fans of her safety.
However, her follow-up comment drew attention as she compared the experience to navigating the music industry, stating that the “sharks” in the industry are far more dangerous than those in the ocean.
“Everyone worried about me swimming with sharks, but the ones in this music industry are way more f*cking dangerous,” she wrote.
Savage said her faith in God keeps her grounded and worry-free.
She made this confession on her Instagram story, saying, “How can I even worry when the God that creates this is the same one that watches over me?”
This statement comes after she shared her daring video swimming with sharks, which sparked concern among fans.
However, Savage downplayed their worries, noting that the music industry poses more dangers than swimming with sharks.
Savage recently hinted at retiring from music, citing exhaustion and a sense of accomplishment. She is reported to be working on what might be her final studio album.
