The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in yesterday’s Ondo State governorship election, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has emerged victorious in all the 18 Local Government Areas.
Aiyedatiwa, the incumbent governor of the sate, also polled a total of 366,781 votes as against 117,845 votes recorded by his closest rival, Chief Agboola Ajayi, who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP.)
Ajayi was deputy governor to the now late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and was succeeded in office by Aiyedatiwa.
Coming in third is the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, Dr. Abass Mimiko with a respectable 2,692 votes.
A total of 18 political parties were registered by INEC for the election.
