A lawyer, Tunde Ogunsola has emerged the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for the Yewa South local government election scheduled to hold on November 16 , 2024.
The party’s local government Chairman, Alhaji N.A Adenle who conducted the primary, disclosed that the trio of Julianah Akintayo, Muideen Akintade and Tunde Ogunsola participated in the primaries.
Adenle, who said the primary held at the Governor’s lodge, Ilaro said it was conducted under free and fair atmosphere, adding that at the end of the poll Ogunsola won with 43 votes, while Julianah Akintayo polled 3 votes and Muideen Akintade recorded no vote in his column.
The party leaders present at the election ground include Chief M. A. Ajibola, Chief (Mrs) Iyabo Apampa , Isiaq Akinlade , Lateefat Ajayi , Babatunde Olaotan, Tolu Bankole and Yinka Akintomide, among others.
The primary was equally said to have been monitored by some officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the state level.
An elated Ogunsola expressed gratitude to all members of the party, calling on them to work towards the success of the party at the poll.
