Controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, ak Bobrisky, has described his jail term as a “vacation” and expressed his resilience in facing adversity.
During an appearance on the “Curiosity Made Me Ask” show hosted by Bae U Barbie, Bobrisky expressed a willingness to return to Kirikiri Correctional Centre, where he served a six-month sentence for naira mutilation.
When asked about the possibility of going back to prison, Bobrisky responded: “I would love to go, maybe for a short term like that again. Short-term, not long-term.”
He explained that his sentencing was an attempt to break him, adding that it ultimately did not have that effect.
He restated his claim that he was wrongfully convicted, arguing that spraying money is not a crime, saying that he does not consider himself an ex-convict for an act he views as non-criminal.
He said: “The reason why I would love to go again is that these people really want to break me. I have never seen anywhere you are going to sentence someone to prison for spraying money.
“It’s funny to me. Everything happened like a movie. Spraying of money? It’s my money. I’m not owing anybody money. I did not steal money. I did not kidnap, I did not rape. I did not kill anybody. I spent my own hard-earned money, and I was sentenced to where we have a lot of criminals.
“But like I always say, I’m a very strong person. If I have chosen this lifestyle to be who I wanna be, then I should be ready for the worst. And the worst that has happened is sending me to prison because, obviously, I did not do anything, I did not kill anybody. I’m not an ex-convict because I can’t be convicted for spraying money. So I won’t accept it.”
Okuneye also declared his intention to continue spraying money at events, despite his recent six-month imprisonment for naira mutilation.
Bobrisky, however, said that he will now exclusively spray dollars instead of Nigeria’s currency, Naira.
He disclosed this in a recent interview with content creator, Bae U Barbie.
He said: “I am still going to spray money but I will only spray dollars, not naira.”
To celebrate his freedom, Bobrisky hosted a classy party with friends, including Moyo Lawal, Lady Golfer and Eniola Ajao.
Videos from the celebration show Bobrisky and his friends enjoying a luxurious boat cruise in Victoria Island, Lagos.
In one clip, Bobrisky is seen dancing to music while surrounded by several bottles of expensive Hennessy liquor on the table.
The lavish celebration marks a swift return to Bobrisky’s extravagant lifestyle, following his six-month imprisonment for naira abuse.
