The Management of the Sakirat Atanda Hope Foundation has presented a cheque of ₦930,000 to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) for the treatment of 20 patients undergoing dialysis at the hospital.
The cheque presentation, done last Thursday on the second day of Eid, was another demonstration of the organization’s resolve to alleviate the financial pressure faced by kidney patients.
Speaking at the presentation, Chairman of the Foundation, Mr Olayiwola Atanda said the Foundation was established in memory of his late wife, whose name the Foundation carries.
Apart from the support to the dialysis Centre at LASUTH, the Foundation also carries out other activities including medical outreaches and empowerment programmes for the underprivileged.

We write to formally notify the Management of the Renal Dialysis Centre, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH),of the sponsorship of dialysis sessions for Twenty (20) patients by Sakirat Atanda Hope Foundation.
One of the cardinal objectives of our Foundation is to provide assistance and support for kidney health patients, particurlarly those who are financially constrained.
