Mr. Segun Awolowo, the only son of Abah Folawiyo and grandson of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo have been reported dead.
Born on 27 September 1963, 72-year-old Awolowo was a lawyer and a former Executive Director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council.
Although details of his passing are still sketchy, the development is reported to have created a stir within the Awolowo family and among his associates.
Segun was said to have dealt with an ailment for some time.
